Introduction: 「生物技術」是一門將「生命科學」實 用化的應用科學,
其應用更是無遠弗 屆,且生物技術已被公認為是下一世紀最具有潛力的高科技工業之一。
因此為了「生物技術」之積極而長久的發展,加強人才之培育,故本校成立生物科技系,結合相關各系,以既有之優秀師資及精密儀器設備為基礎,配合教育部的「促進技職教育多元化與精緻化」計劃,使生物科技系成為現今生物科技產業界人才培育的搖籃。
本系配合時代潮流與國家政策,教學以技術與理論並重。給予學生紮實之生物化學、分子生物學、及微生物學之訓練,並加強實驗技術,進而引領學生到醫學、食品、農業及製藥生技等領域,並培育優秀之生物科技專業人才及研究人員。
本所教學以技術為主,理論為輔,包含「生技藥品及食品研發」及「生物技術研發」等兩大教學與研究為主題。
<主要進修管道>
生物科技、生命科學、藥學、分子生物學、生物化學、生物學、分子醫學、微生物學等國內外博士班。
