摘要:	Aspergillus terreus found in Taiwan is the thermophilic filngus. In our previous study, its crude extract showed potential cytotoxity toward various tested human cancer cell lines. Based on the general partition and series chromatography, four new steroid derivatives Ergotetranone A-D (1-4) were isolated and determined, together with three known compounds, Ergosta-4,6,8(4),22-tetrane-3-one (5), Ergosta-5,7,22-trien-3β-ol (6), 5α,8α-epidioxyergosta-6,22-dien-3β-ol (7). AII structures were identified by one-and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy and Mass spectrometry. The investigation of biological activities of these steroid derivatives are under going.
