Abstract:	研究指出代謝性疾病人數逐年增加如肥胖及第二型糖尿病，此外在許多研究指出NUCB-2與癌症發展及第二型糖尿病有高度相關性，然而雖然知道NUCB-2與第二型糖尿病有關，但是詳細的機制或是訊息傳遞路徑尚未清楚，因此本實驗直接發現NUCB-2與可能導致第二型糖尿病的基因，並透過篩選來找出最佳的天然物及目前臨床用藥，給予保健食品開發一個重要的參考依據，並且提供目前針對NUCB-2有關的第二型糖尿病一個較適當的治療用藥資訊。
