    Title: 不同消毒劑於健身中心室內環境改善之應用
    IMPROVEMENT OF INDOOR ENVIRONMENT IN THE FITNESS CENTER BY USING DIFFERENT DISINFECTANTS
    本論文調查了室內健身中心在空調、通風和使用人數等條件,在正常運行的情況下,細菌和真菌污染方面的空氣品質改善情況。此外,還對健身器材表面之細菌污染及消毒情?進行檢測。健身中心的室內空氣中,生物氣膠的背景細菌和真菌的密度範圍分別為249±65 ~ 812±111 CFU/m3 和226±39 ~ 837±838CFU/m3,而在室外空氣中,細菌和真菌密度範圍分別為370±86~953±136 CFU/m3和465±108~1734±580 CFU/m3。經研究發現,使用氣霧二氧化氯和弱酸性次氯酸水針對細菌和真菌的消毒情形,與使用氣霧水相比,更為有效。其中15 分鐘的消毒時間,足以控制細菌和真菌密度,使其符合環保署室內空氣品質標準。使用人數的多寡和二氧化碳濃度,會影響細菌和真菌的消毒效果,在環境因子中,溫度對於真菌消毒的影響較為顯著。而其他環境因子包括相對濕度、風速及粉塵物質對微生物存活較無明顯影響。在健身器材部分,針對自行車把手、舉重把手及仰臥起坐躺椅處等項目之表面細菌和大腸桿菌的密度進行檢測,範圍分別為390±2~3,720±736 CFU/ cm2 和550±70~1,080±114 CFU/ cm2。而各個器材微生物的密度取決於其使用人數和頻率。在殺菌方面,二氧化氯和氧化鋅的殺菌效果較弱酸性次氯酸水和一般的商業消毒劑更為有效,而所有測試的消毒劑針對大腸桿菌的殺菌效果均相當,經過研究發現,在使用消毒劑後的2 分鐘內,就能有效地消除運動器材表面細菌和大腸桿菌。
    This study investigated the air quality improvement in term of bacteriaand fungi contamination of the indoor exercise and fitness center under normaloperating conditions including air conditioning, ventilation, and user flow. Inaddition, bacteria contamination and disinfection on sports equipment surfacewas also examined. Background bacteria and fungi densities in bioaerosols werein the range of 249?65 to 812?111 CFU/m3 and 226?39 to 837?838 CFU/m3 inthe indoor air of the fitness center and 370?86 to 953?136 CFU/m3 and 465?108to 1,734?580 CFU/m3 in the outdoor air, respectively. Chlorine dioxide andweakly acid hypochlorous water aerosols could remove both bacteria and fungimuch better than water scrubbing. Contact time of 15 minutes was sufficient tocontrol both bacteria and fungi to comply with the official air quality standards.User density and carbon dioxide deteriorated both bacteria and fungidisinfection performance whereas temperature was only statistically significanton fungi disinfection. Other factors including relative humidity, airflow velocity, and particulate matters did not have any statistically significant effect on microbial inactivation. Handle of bicycle, dumbbell, and sit-up bench werefound to be contaminated with bacteria and E. coli. Detected densities on thesurface of these sports equipment were in the range of 390?2 to 3,720?736CFU/cm2 and 550?70 to 1,080?114 CFU/cm2, respectively. Microbial densitiesdetected were largely depend on the number of users for each specificequipment. Chlorine dioxide and zinc oxide were noticeably better than weaklyacid hypochlorous water and commercial disinfectant in term of bacteriainactivation whereas all tested disinfectants had comparable effectiveness on E. coli disinfection. Targeted microorganisms were sufficiently inactivated within 2 minutes after the application of disinfectant.
