    Title: 家長之食品安全知識及態度對國小學童健康照顧行為之研究- 以高雄地區國小學童家長為例

    Abstract: 本研究在探討家長之食品安全知識及食品安全態度對國小學童健康照顧行為之現況,及相關背景變項與上述三者的關係。研究對象為高雄地區363國小學童家長,以面對面方式進行問卷調查,問卷內容包括基本資料、食品安全知識、食品安全知識態度以及健康照顧行為等部分。研究結果發現家長對食品知識答對率為88%±11% (42.70% - 98.62%);食品態度得分為4.23±0.38 (3.14 - 4.75分)及健康照顧行為得分為3.95±0.41 (3.28 - 4.67分);影響家長食品安全知識、食品安全態度及健康照顧行為之背景變量,包括性別、年齡、居住地區及家庭月平均收入;食品安全知識與食品安全態度以及食品安全態度與健康照顧行為之間呈現中度相關,而食品安全知識與健康照顧行為則為低度相關。結論:本研究結果顯示國小兒童家長的食品安全知識及食品態度普遍良好,家長的食品安全知識影響其食品安全態度表現,家長的食品安全態度有助於提升對國小兒童健康照顧的行為。
    The study aims to investigate the situations of parents’ food safety knowledge, food safety attitudes and health care behavior were studied. Then, extend to which the parents’ backgrounds affected these sections were explored. Finally, the relations among food safety knowledge, food safety attitudes and health care behavior by the parents of elementary school students were analyzed. A total of 363 parents were interviewed to collect information on sociodemographic information, food safety knowledge, attitudes and health care behaviors. Results showed that parents had good knowledge of food safety (mean passing rate 88.0%±11.0%, on a scale from 42.70% to 98.62%); food safety attitude (mean score 4.23±0.38 on a scale from 3.14-4.75 scores) and health care behavior (mean score 3.95±0.41on a scale from 3.28-4.67scores). Gender, age, residence, and household income were the identified factors associated with food safety practice. A significant moderate positive association was observed between food safety knowledge and food safety attitudes (p<0.01) as well as food safety attitudes and health care behaviors (p<0.01), but food safety knowledge was low correlated with health care behavior. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the subjects had a good level of food safety knowledge and attitudes, and food safety attitude was mediated by knowledge. Improving their health care behavior of elementary school students’ parents are important to enhance their attitudes.
