世界衛生組織全球人口的統計資料指出,總人口數中65歳以上的高齡者比率預估將從1950年5.2%,未來預計到2050年將增加到近15億約佔16.2%(US Bureau of the Census,2002),21世紀可以預期的是全球人口快速老化的年代;隨著全球高齡長者人口的增加,高齡友善相關醫療議題是現今廣大重視的課題,世界各國醫療機構皆陸續擬定高齡長者相關政策與福利,一直是各個國家的首要任務。本研究藉由文獻回顧並結合ISO45001建構高齡友善醫院,共整理出四個主要因素,包含9項高齡友善醫院因素,據此發展出現況問卷。
研究個案以台灣某醫療體系護理人員為對象,進而深入探討醫院高齡友善醫院之現況。發現年齡、工作年資,對於高齡友善醫院上皆有顯著差異。另外,從分析得知年齡與溝通和服務、物理環境,呈現顯著性的差異;工作年資與物理環境,呈現顯著性的差異。 The global statistical data of the World Health Organization pointed out that the ratio of elderly people aged more than 65 years and above will increase by nearly 1.5 billion from 5.2% in 1950 to 16.2% in 2050 (US Bureau of the Census, 2002) and the 21st century can be predicted to be an era of rapid global population aging. With the increase in global elderly people population, elder-friendly-related medical issues are topics of great attention. Medical institutions around the world all successively formulated elderly-related policies and welfare, which has always been a major task for many countries. In this study, a literature review was carried out and 4 major factors were obtained after referring to legal regulations and pertinent regulations on the ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system, which includes 9 dimensions on 9 elder-friendly care and the current status questionnaire was developed based on it.
The subjects of this study are nursing staff from a certain medical system in Taiwan who are used for an in-depth examination of the current status of safety and health environment of elder-friendly care. We found that marital status, age, and years of work experience all show significant differences in a safe and hygienic environment of elder-friendly care. In addition, the analysis showed that age, and communication show significant differences in communication and services and physical environment; and years of work experience shows significant differences in physical environment.
