Four biphenols containing biphenol and derivatives ( bisphenol A, biphenol F, bisphenol Z) were separated simultaneously on a 250 mm x 4.0 mm i.d LiChrospherR 60 RP-Select B (particle size 5 mm) column with methanol-1 .0 mM potassium dihydrogen phosphate (pH 3.41) solvent, programmed as mobile phase and with an ultraviolet (UV) detector set at 230 nm. The method is applied for the simultaneous quantitative determination of biphenols. in cosmetics and personal care products.
