There are a special ash black mud hot spring and rich natural landscape resources in Guanziling. In the early days, Taiwanese Plains Aborigines lived in it, and later the Han people farmed there, which endowed it with rich cultural backgrounds and different beliefs and century-old architectures. In the early governance of Japan, Japanese rapidly developed hot springs and Japanese merchants also began their tourism business, which became one of four major tourist attractions in Taiwan. Business activities in Guanziling have been gradually depressed since 1971. In order to revive the prosperity of Guanziling, the government launched a rejuvenation plan. In recent years, diversified tourism has been promoted more actively, In particular, Royal Lord Fire Festival which activates the local cultural characteristics of tourism, making the current Guanziling hot spring one of the most popular activities for health and tourism. Basing on field?investigation, this paper extensively collects tourism resources to learn about how to enhance the tourism benefits and cultural value to make the tourism a deeper feeling, make tourists introduce it to their relatives and friends and have the desire to revisit and reduce the population flow difference between the slack and busy seasons. According to the hot spring law, the hot spring resources shall be controlled effectively and develop diversely. It is hoped that of the conservation and sustainable development of hot spring can coexist with social economy, cherishing the former affection of Nan Ying and taking the prosperity of Guanziling tourism as a goal.
