The present invention relates to a sensitizer composition for dye-sensitized solar cell, particularly to a sensitizer composition adapted to be extracted from fruit and vegetable wastes. The present invention is characterized in that the sensitizer composition comprises anthocyanin and chlorophyll, wherein the weight ratio of the anthocyanins is 40-60%, and the weight ratio of the chlorophyll is 60-40%. In a preferred embodiment, the anthocyanin is extracted from grape skins, and the chlorophyll is extracted from corn leaves.
