化粧品發展已逐漸朝向生物科技及天然物應用,且天然物植物萃取物添加在化粧品已為市場趨勢,本研究選用三種天然植物分別為睡蓮科植物、黃褥花科植物及山茶科植物,以去離子水為溶劑,經加熱迴流萃取其萃取液,再以乳酸菌進行微生物發酵。利用乳酸菌的代謝作用對植物的成分進行生物轉化作用,研究轉化物之抗氧化、美白及抗菌等活性評估而應用於化粧品。結果顯示,發酵後之轉化物清除DPPH自由基之抗氧化活性有明顯提升,而ABTS˙+陽離子自由基研究結果則以未發酵之抗氧化活性較佳。另外植物黃褥花科植物及山茶科植物之發酵前後之混合液則顯示有抑制酪胺酸?之活性。綜合評估活性結果,將天然物萃取及其轉化物作為混合液應用於化粧水、洗面露、精華液、乳霜等產品中,對人體做功效性評估。評估結果為黃褥花科植物及山茶科植物混合液具有良好保濕效果,黃褥花科植物混合液對於紫外線色斑有抑制效果,而山茶科植物混合液產品使用四週後則是對紫質有明顯減少之情形。 另外,本研究亦探討食品防腐劑之抑菌活性評估,利用紙錠抑菌圈試驗以及ATP生物冷光反應測試開發出一新的防腐劑複方,由食品防腐劑以及天然精油組合而成可應用於化粧品當中,使未來防腐劑的使用可以挑選對人體較無害且更安全之防腐劑。 The cosmetic technology development is toward the tendency of adding microbial materials and applying the natural substance. The extracts from natural plant are added in the cosmetic products for current marketing. In this study, three of natural plant including the Nymphaeaceae, Malpighiaceae, and Theaceae were extracted by water using the heating reflux extraction method. The following fermentation was proceeded with Lactobacillus.The biotransformation will then be executed by Lactobacillus to transfer the abstracts into anti-oxidation, whitening, and anti-bacterial active products. This research will contribute to the cosmetic technology development definitely.It is found in this research that the antioxidant activity to DPPH free radicals scavenging is increased using the fermented biotransformation substance. However, another research of ABTS˙+ free radicals scavenging is confirmed that unfermented antioxidant activity substance is more effective. It is also discovered that compoundof the unfermented and fermented Malpighiaceae, and Theaceae extracts can inhibit the activity of Tyrosinase. Integrated evaluation of the activity research, the application of adding the natural extracts and its biotransformation substance into the cosmetic, facial lotion, essence, and the cream, etc. productshad been evaluated the effectiveness on human body. The result is confirmed an excellent moisture protecting effect by utilized the Malpighiaceae, and Theaceae extracts. The Malpighiaceae compounds are more effective to inhibit the UV spots, and the Theaceae compound reduced the UV spots obviously after using the products for more than four weeks period.Furthermore, the antibacterial activity with the food preservative also studied in this research.The agar disc diffusion method and ATP bioluminescence reaction test are applied to develop a new preservative compound. By using the composited food preservatives and natural plant oils, the cosmetic will be more harmless and safe to human body.
