| 摘要: | It has been shown in this laboratory that cobra venom contains not only neurotoxins but also cardiotoxins which are responsible for the local action of this venom. On the other hand, the venom of Bungarus multicinctus has been found to contain only neurotoxins and is devoid of local actions. In contrast, the venom of Bungarus multicinctus has been reported to have local actions. In this paper,we try to purify toxins from this venom and study on their biochemical and pharmacological actions. Furthermore, it would be interesting to see which toxin is responsible for the local actions of this venom. |
