從台灣民間藥劍葉鳳尾草，日本金粉蕨及小飛揚草之複方水抽出物中分離得到一種淡黃色結晶，此種結晶經物理及化學方法證明為Ellagic Acido。 A tanninic substance, ellagic acid was isolated and identified from the combined aqueous extract of pteris ensiformis Burm. F., Onychium japonicum (Thunb.) Kunze and Euphorbia chamaesyce L.
