（５） 消化劑間含有不等量的澱粉酶活性，大部分經本法分析後其澱粉酶含量均較標示量為低。 In this study, starch-I reaction is demostrated as a better method in quantitative analysis of amylase activity in both raw material and digestant than the methods presented in several pharmacopoeia. By means of this more convenient procedure, the amylolytic abilities of several popular digestants are analyzed. Other significant findings as followed are also discussed.
(1) Diastase or pancreatin as low as 1 fug can be detected within 20 min at room temperature.
(2) Sonification is demostrated to be a suitable procedure for preparation of enteric coat homogenate.
(3) On standing at room temperature, amylolytic activity of pancreatin solution decreases gradually. When the digestant without antacids ( such as NaHCO3 ) is extracted with gastric fluid (USP ;without pepsin ), all :he amylolytic activity is lost.
(4) The digestants tested show different significantly in amylolytic activity, and some of them preserve an activity less than 50% of enzyme amount labeled.
