    Abstract: In order to improve healthcare quality, the Medical Quality Indicator has been devoted to implementing the hospitals data system. Medical Quality Indicator is comprised of multiple sets of performance indicators for measuring different pattern care settings of the executive information system: Each care setting uses numerous Medical Quality Indicators for measuring quality. OLAP technology is common approach for assessing healthcare quality. This study addresses executive information systems (EIS) development in a data warehouse for quality improvement. In particular, we perform a comprehensive framework, which integrate a data warehouse system into an EIS used in peer-comparison in performance of quality improvement. Implications with regard to ESI are discussed
