This study focused on how school social workers perform their roles while deal with drop-out students’ affairs. Tainan City has nice record of decreasing the rate of drop-out students. However, short of school social workers perform as coordinator and enforcer, the drop-out students are not really cared as the record presented.
The study suggested that lets school social workers enter not only schools but also The Case Management and Service Center. There should be a supporting mechanism among all
related units that deal with drop-out students’ affairs.
