探討台南地區男性居民之維生素 D 受體基因之Apa I 多型性與骨質疏鬆的關係。採用聚合酶鏈鎖反應-限制片段長度多型性分析技術檢測91例台南地區男性居民之維生素 D 受體基因之 Apa I 多型性,並用中軸型雙能量X光吸收儀檢測上述人群腰椎及左邊髋骨的骨質密度。
Apa I多型性等位基因頻率分佈符合Hardy-Weinberg定律,骨質疏鬆組基因型頻率分佈依次為 aa : 33.3 % 、 aA : 60.0 % 、 AA : 6.7 % 、骨質流失組基因型頻率分佈依次為 aa : 25.8 % 、 aA : 67.7 % 、 AA : 6.5 % 、骨質正常組基因型頻率分佈依次為 aa : 26.7 % 、 aA : 53.3 % 、 AA : 20.0 %。統計分析顯示在所有組別中維生素 D 受體基因 Apa I 基因型與腰椎及左邊髋骨之骨質密度無相關性。骨質疏鬆組、骨質流失組、骨質正常組三組間基因型和等位基因型差異無顯著性。
台南地區男性居民之維生素 D 受體基因 Apa I 多型性與骨質疏鬆可能無相關性。 To investigate the relationship between vitamin D receptor gene Apa I polymorphism and osteoporosis for the male is conducted in Tainan regional hospital. The vitamin D receptor genotype was determined by polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymerphisms(PCR-RFLP)for 91 male in Tainan. Bone mineral density(BMD)at lumbar spine and left hip was measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA).
The allele frequencies of Apa I polymorphism are in line with Hardy- Weinberg equilibrium. Frequencies distribution of VDR Apa I genotype for osteoporotic group are aa:33.3%、aA:60.0%、AA:6.7%. Frequencies distribution of VDR Apa I genotype for osteopenia group are aa:25.8%、aA:67.7%、AA:6.5%. Frequencies distribution of normal group VDR Apa I genotype are aa:26.7%、aA:53.3%、AA:20.0%。 Mantel-Haenszel test analysis showed that no significant association between VDR Apa I genotype and BMD at lumbar spine and left hip in all groups. There was no statistical significance among osteoprosis group, osteopenia group and normal group in genotype and allele genes. There was no association between the Apa I polymorphism of VDR gene and Osteoporosis.
