Abstract:	蜘蛛抱蛋為百合科多年生植物，民間以其根莖為強心、利尿、袪痰、強壯藥。自霧社採得原植物，取根莖部，以甲醇抽取，粗抽出物經層析法分離得6種一般成分外，並單離出Diosgenin及Aspidistrin。臺灣民間以其根莖經加工後稱本知母，被當作知母來應用(2)(3)，但可以組成成分鑑別之。
