摘要:	全世界每七秒就會有多一個失智症患者，根據國際失智症協會統計推估2050年患有失智症的人口將達到1億1540萬人，亞太地區失智症的患病人數至2050年會增加到約19,940人，因此，尋求並建立完善的失智症照護機制刻不容緩，而營造適切的照護環境更形重要，而如何針對失智症照護環境的適切性進行評估乃為當前的重要議題。因此本研究乃以國外已發展成熟並廣泛使用的失智症照護環境評估工具所含括的照護環境評估項目為基礎，以機構中照顧人員的角度切入，探討機構內對失智症照顧設計的環境項目，同時透過照顧者不同的觀點，去建構失智症照護環境所需要具備的元素，並檢核現有照顧環境的適切性。本研究樣本來自三間長期照護機構，並立意選取其中十位照顧人員為受訪者，受訪者表示對失智症照護環境內涵中，所應具備安全、隱私、生活空間區隔、戶外空間、活動與回饋、環境中刺激元及調整、自主性的維護、生活持續與穩定、管理彈性、環境氣氛等十項的條件，都認為相當重要。失智症照護環境的規劃與評估是當前最重要議題，未來應發展台灣本土的失智症照護環境評估工具，以建構更適合失智症長輩生活的環境。 The world will occur a Alzheimer's patient every seven seconds in the world. International society of Alzheimer's Disease was estimated the population of suffering from dementia will reach 115.4million in 2050 and in the Asia-Pacific region will increase to about 19,940 by 2050. Therefore, the urgency to seek and establish a sound mechanism for dementia care, and to create an appropriate environment of care. The important issue is to assess the appropriateness of dementia care environment now , The research was based on the well defined assessment tool to explored and construct the environment contents of dementia care through the perspective of care personnel in long term care facilities. We also want to see the appropriateness of the care environment currently. Our samples were purposive selected of the ten staffs from three long-term care facilities. The results show that the respondents considered the important environmental contents for dementia care should be included security , privacy, living space segment, outdoor space, activity, feedback, adjust the environment to stimulate the element of autonomy demand, stable life, management flexibility, and ambience .We Recommended to developing the Taiwanese version of environmental assessment tool for dementia care to construct a more suitable living environment for dementia elders.
