    Title: 溫泉產業結合健康服務之意象調查
    A Survey Study on the Health Service Image of Hot Spring Industries in Taiwan

    Abstract: 世界衛生組織以「健康促進」作為21世紀人類健康的新策略。Pilzer 進一步指出,健康產業將從現今疾病產業中脫穎而出,成為新時代潮流,此時以身、心、靈之自癒療法為核心的spa產業,將因而受惠快速成長。Michael針對spa產業趨勢提出預言,未來亞洲地區spa產業將會是以傳統療法技術的核心產業。
    溫泉是台灣珍貴的天然資源,然而至今台灣溫泉仍以觀光休閒為發展重點,溫泉與健康促進的相關研究報導及如何將傳統療法運用在溫泉產業的整體概念則是相當缺乏。本研究重整Pilzer和Michael對健康產業及spa產業發展的看法,並聚焦於台灣溫泉產業的發展現況及嘗試加入健康促進的理念,以作為本研究之目的。研究採結構化質性研究方法,以立意及滾雪球抽樣法,訪談12位溫泉飯店業者,研究問卷效度,事先經過3位學者及2位業界專家調整後,將訪談問卷分為四大構面,包含基本資料、溫泉養生看法、保健技術應用情形、健康服務應用策略,並由研究者親自到現地進行訪談。研究的主要研究範圍是以知本溫泉區為主,共訪談9位溫泉飯店業者。為了能進行訪談資料的比較與討論,本研究另外選擇位在南台灣不同溫泉區域的飯店,包括安通溫泉區、關子嶺溫泉區及四重溪溫泉區各選擇一家業者進行訪談。研究結果在保健技術之調查顯示,無論「花蓮溫泉區」、「關子嶺溫泉區」、「四重溪溫泉區」或是「知本溫泉區」,在保健技術方面,由過去5-10%,增加到目前的10-30%,未來將增加到40-60%,表示受訪之溫泉業者的意向呈正向反應;在健康服務策略上的調查結果顯示,受訪的溫泉業者在「未來年5年內」已作好傾向「健康照顧」的重新規劃與組織變革之準備;在「健康服務策略」影響公司營運層面,所有受訪公司皆持正向與樂觀態度。最後,針對未來推展保健技術之營運策略與困難進行訪談,結果顯示,在法令、人才、利益、專業技術、資金、市場需求、設備投資等方面,為受訪公司未來最擔心與最感困難的問題。綜合本研究結果,未來台灣溫泉產業可以結合健康服務為主要的發展目標。
    The “Health Promotion” concept is a new strategy of the World Health Organization in 21st century for human health. Pilzer indicated that the health industry will become a new trend and the spa center to Self-healing for the body and soul will get more benefit and rapid growth. Recently, Michael had indicated that the future of the spa center in the Asia will become a core industry to enhance the traditional therapy techniques. The hot spring is a very precious resource in Taiwan. However, the hot spring still developed as tourist and leisure but lack of the related research about spa with health promotion in Taiwan. There hadn’t a holistic concept about how to use the traditional therapy techniques in Taiwan’s spa industry. In this study, we have emphasized the recommendation of Pilzer, Michael and focused on the situation of hot spring in Taiwan. We also tried to use the health promotion idea into Taiwan’s hot spring industry. The study used the structured qualitative research method with purposive and snowball sampling to interviewed 12 hot spring industrial proprietors. The questionnaire reliability had regulated by 3 academics and 2 spa industry professors and divided into four aspects that contained with “basic information”, “notices of the health promotion”, “wellness technology” and the “health service strategy”. The main research area of this study was in the Chih-Pen hot spring and had interviewed 9 hot spring industrial proprietors. For compared and discussed, this study had also choose the different hot spring area from the Southern Taiwan, which included Antong hot spring, Guanziling Creek hot spring and Sihjhongsi hot spring where each area had choose a industrial proprietor to interview. The results have shown, in the “wellness technology” around each researched hot springs their intention were from 5-10% the past to current 10-30% and the future will increase to 40-60%; in the “health service strategy” they had all prepared in 5 years and in the "health care trend" their intention in the organizational change or re-plan were show positively; affects the company's operating level in the “health service strategy” all of the companies maintain a positive and optimistic intention. Finally, for the future to promote the “wellness technology” had interviewed how the operations and difficulties that shows in the Act, talent, interests, expertise, capital, market demand, investment in equipment, etc. were the most difficulties and worried problems.
    Comprehensive the results have shown that the spa with health services will be a key factor of hot spring industrial trends in Taiwan.
