Lactositol was a proper excipient. But overdose of Lactositol would cause diarrhea, and affected the bioavailability of medications in which it contains. This thesis focused on the influence of Lactositol on alimentary tract. From our research, we got the follow-mg results:
    (1) Lactositol at low concentration promoted the releasing speed of contents in the stomach, but at high concentration slowed the releasing speed of contents in the stomach.
    (2) Lactositol promoted the intestinal transfer.
    (3) Lactositol restrained the movement of water in intestinal lumen.
    (4) Lactositol strengthened the movement of intestine.
