    Title: 長照機構之室內空氣品質調查與新穎潔淨技術探討
    Evaluation of the indoor environment and development a novel clean-control technology in long-term care institution

    Abstract: 本研究選取南部兩家長期照顧機構為採樣對象,一家位於市區,另一家位於郊區。主要研究目的是在探討長期照顧機構之室內空氣品質IAQ,以 及利用二氧化氯殺菌為積極手段,來評估二氧化氯消毒劑應用於長期照顧機構室內環境殺菌之效率,期望能改善長期照顧機構之環境及住民之健康。
    在量測時段早上8:00至下午4:00的實驗結果顯示,市區與郊區的長期照顧機構之室內溫度與相對濕度,均符合IAQ建議值(15~28℃、40~70%)範圍內。市區長期照顧機構之室內CO2平均濃度為702.6 ppm,高於郊區長期照顧機構CO2平均濃度542.4 ppm,且全時段均高於IAQ建議值600 ppm。此外,郊區長期照顧機構之室內真菌的總菌落數為1336.5 CFU/m3,明顯高於市區長期照顧機構之室內真菌的總菌落數949.9 CFU/m3,且全時段均高於IAQ建議值1000 CFU/m3。再者,郊區長期照顧機構之室內細菌總菌落數879.6 CFU/m3,顯著高於市區長期照顧機構之477 CFU/m3,且全時段均高於IAQ建議值500 CFU/m3。實驗結果也發現到,市區長期照顧機構之室內真菌的總菌落數與細菌總菌落數,皆於中午時段略高於IAQ建議值。
    實驗結果證明利用二氧化氯超音波霧化殺菌之最佳操作條件為(1)距離:100 cm,(2)流速:5 mL/min,(3)濃度:200 ppm,(4)時間:10 min,(5)時效性:20 min。將二氧化氯應用於長期照顧機構之室內環境殺菌效率發現,經二氧化氯消毒劑噴霧後,住房之滅菌率可達56.1%。
    綜合以上的研究結果顯示,長照機構若能持續每天進行消毒滅菌工作,即可達到室內空氣品質之要求。因此利用二氧化氯應用於室內環境殺菌,可以提供長期照顧機構作為選擇消毒劑之參考。
    This research selected two long-term care institutions in south Taiwan as the sampling workplaces, they lie in the urban and suburb area. The main purpose of this study is probe into the indoor air quality (IAQ) of long -term care institutions. Another purpose is the sterilization efficiency of indoor environment was estimated by using chlorine dioxide. We expect to be able to improve the environmental quality and the health of residents at the long-term care institutions .
    The measurement period was from a.m. 8:00 to 4:00 p.m. The experimental results revealed indoor temperature and relative humidity of the long-term care institutions in the urban area and in the suburb were fit in with IAQ recommended value (15~28℃ and 40~70%). The indoor average CO2 concentration of long-term care institution in the urban area was 702.6 ppm. It was higher than the concentration 542.4 ppm of long-term care institution in the suburb, and higher than 600 ppm of IAQ recommended value at all times. In addition, the indoor fungi colony and bacterium colony of long-term care institution in the suburb were 1336.5 CFU/m3 and 879.6 CFU/m3, respectively. They were obviously higher than long-term care institution in the urban area 949.9 CFU/m3 and 477 CFU/m3, respectively. The whole period was higher than IAQ recommended value 1000 CFU/m3 of fungi colony and 500 CFU/m3 of bacterium colony. It was also found that the indoor fungi colony and bacterium colony of long-term care institution in the urban area were all slightly higher than IAQ recommend value in noon period.
    The experimental result proved that the best operation condition of utilizing ultrasonic atomization of chlorine dioxide to sterilize was (1) Distance: 100 cm, (2) Velocity of flow: 5 mL/min, (3) Concentration: 200 ppm, (4) Time: 10 min, (5) Timeliness: 20 min. Applying the chlorine dioxide disinfectant sprays on the indoor space to investigate the indoor environmental sterilization efficiency of long-term care institutions. The result was found the sterilization rate of the indoor space can reach 56.1%.
    The above results show that the better air quality of long-term care institutions can be achieved needs to continue sterilize on daily. Therefore, chlorine dioxide used in the indoor environmental sterilization can provide reference as an alternative disinfectant at the long-term care institutions.
