    摘要: 本文之墓底再說明如何成功的運用課本及作業以外之英語教學活動於課堂上,尤其在提升學生的學習興趣,改變上課得氣氛以及增進學生對英文學習的注意力方面。十五項活動被選用來印證教學內容多變化及新奇之功效,而如何達到此目標之運用方式也有詳細的資料。這十五項英文教學活動包括:(1)諺語,俚語或成語(2)猜謎,鬥智或趣味問答(3)笑話,謬司或新點子(4)爵士調(5)繞口令及童謠(6)英文歌曲(7)預言命性(8)廣告(9)美國節目習俗(10)說故事(11)圖片,漫畫或卡通(12)頭條新聞(13)情境會話及話劇(14)體操運動(15)知心卡。這些動可在上任何時間穿插使用,而且不僅適用國高中高職,也適用於五專及二專學生。教師在課前必須先收集資料,作好上課教學計畫,如此才能讓學生在活動中出奇不意的收到學習效果並專心學習。
    This article expresses how extracurricular activities can be used successfully for teaching English, especially in motivating students’learning interest, in changing the classroom atmosphere, and in improving their concentration. Fifteen activities have been selected to prove the effect of varieties and novelties on teaching contents .Detai;ed ways of application are diacussed to explain how yo reach the golas. Each of the fifteen activities can be used at any time during the class not only for students in junior and senior high or vocational schools but also for those in 5-year and 2-year junior colleges.
