An experimental study were carried out to improvement of the teaching of the “Determination of equilibrium constant”, one of the general chemistry experiment units. Three classes of students in the Applied Chemistry Department of chia Nan Junior College of Pharmacy are used as teaching model. Two of the three classes which taken as experimental groups were proceeded by transparency and slide-aided teaching, respectively. The remaining class, underwent traditional teaching, was taken as control group. The tests using examination sheet and questionnaire are given before and after the course. We evaluated the learning achievment and affectiveness by the usage of teaching medium. The results show that medium-assisted teaching has significant effect in the improvement of the general chemistry experiment.
