    Title: 海藻酸鈉包覆薰衣草精油微膠囊的製備及其制放性之研究

    Abstract: 本研究是以微膠囊包覆技術(microencapsulation)製備膠體顆粒(gel beads)以求達到精油的控制釋放。文中利用聚電解質複合反應(polyelectrolyte complex reaction)將含精油之海藻酸鈉(sodium alginate)高分子膠體溶液滴入二氯化鈣水溶液中,進行離子交聯(ionic cross-linking)反應生成三度空間網狀(3-dimension network)結構的Tween85/薰衣草精油/SA/Ca2+之微膠囊。改變二氯化鈣、海藻酸鈉、Tween85與精油之添加量等操作變因,並依據上述變因探討不同製備條件下對精油微膠囊之重量平均粒徑、包埋率、負載率及釋放模式之影響。結果發現:(1)薰衣草精油微膠囊的重量平均粒徑決定其包埋率、負載率與釋放速率,因此藉由調整微膠囊的製備參數控制粒徑大小,進而支配精油的釋放速率;(2)薰衣草精油微膠囊於酒精水溶液中的釋放行為與T. Higuchi之動力模式相符,而TGA中的釋放模式則為Zero-order,因此釋放的條件與環境會影響薰衣草精油微膠囊的釋放模式。
    This research was by microencapsulation to prepare gel beads in order to reach controlled release properties of essential oil. In the article, utilizing polyelectrolyte complex reaction to form 3-dimension network structure. Sodium alginate microcapsules were prepared with calcium chloride by ionic crosslinking. The parameters included amount of calcium chloride, sodium alginate, Tween85 and essential oil were investigated, for discussing the weight average particle size, encapsulation efficiency, loading capacity and release properties of the microcapsules. The results indicated that the release profiles were fitted very well by the T. Higuchi release model in the 80% alcohol solution. Meanwhile, the releasing mechanism of encapsulated lavender oil which was placed in the TGA was according with the zero order kinetics completely matched.
