複合高分子顆粒的型態(morphology)對高分子材料的性質有很大的影響,所以在農藥、醫藥、塑膠與橡膠添加劑的應用極為普遍。本文以丙烯酸丁酯為單體,異丙苯過氧化氫、硫酸亞鐵及甲醛合次硫酸氫鈉為氧化還原起始劑,配合攪拌器進行半批式無乳化劑微小乳化聚合反應(mini-emulsion polymerization),製得種子乳液顆粒。再以苯乙烯為單體,過氧二安息香醯為起始劑進行懸浮聚合反應(suspension polymerization)包覆種子乳液顆粒,合成複合乳液顆粒。利用雷射散射光譜儀、電子顯微鏡、熱分析儀觀察顆粒包覆之情形。我們發覺以半批式撫乳化劑微小乳化聚合反應及懸浮聚合反應所得聚合物顆粒為核殼( coreand shell )之形態。 The morphology of composite polymer particles plays an important role in polymeric material. The performance of polymer particles can be improved by means of specificfjc polymer morphology. Therefore, the applications of composite polymer particles are very popular. In this study, we used butyl acrylate as a monomer and CHP-EDTA-Fe(II)-SFS as an intiator to prepare seecL latex by mini-emulsion polymerization. Then the seed latex and styrene were polymerized to obtain composite polymer particles in the suspension polymerization. The morphology of the obtained particles was characterized by transmission electron microscope, laser scattering spectrophotometer and differential thermal analyzer. lt appeared that the morphology of particles is the core and shell structure.
