Abstract:	中國哲學中的「形神論」思想，基本上涉及有關人類存在的一些根本性問題。「人是什麼？」即是關於理解人的一個綱領性問題，此問題所涉及的主題是對於人存在的一種全盤性的了解，它涵蓋了諸如人的生命本質、生理心理活動之性質、死亡之意義等問題的探討。「人是什麼？」此一問題可以說是人類本身的一種永恆的困惑與終極性的關懷，這個問題之所以既深刻又重要，基本上在於對此問題得不同解答乃勾勒出截然不同的關於人的圖像，而這又直接且根本性地決定了人在宇宙中的存在地位並因而影響了人的生命意義與價值取向。基本上，這些相關的問題必須在某種本體論的立場之下才能得到某種圓滿的解答，而不同的本體論立場則會給出全然不同的答案。人生從何來?活著如何?死後又將何去?「形神論」思想，試圖提供我們某種有關「人是什麼」的全幅圖像。 The main concern of "Shin-Sheng-Lun" is about some fundamental problems of human existence. These fundamental problems include some basic guestions like: the essence of life, the nature of mental activities, the meaning of death and life after death. These questions are enternal puzzle and ultimate concern for human being. Different answers of these questions offord differ-ent pictures about human being. This will determine our existential position in the universe differ-ently, and therefore affect our thinking about the meaning and value of life directly and basically.
