Abstract:	隱語在狹義上有謎語和微言二類。本文探討幾種隱語的文學類型，將典籍、史傳、小說中的微言、謎語、占卜辭、占夢辭、雙關語、肢體行為的隱語、寓言等，都列為廣義的隱語，加以舉說，以顯示隱語的多樣性。並以敦煌寫本《伍子胥變文》的幾個情節為例，閘明說唱文學中不同的隱語型態，藉以認識隱語在說唱文學悲劇結構中的意義。並對藥名詩的結構加以分析。
