Abstract:	台灣地區溫泉資源利用甚早，惟多僅供休閒與遊憩之用，未做多元利用。為了能了解台灣溫泉產業經營者對溫泉資源的應用模式及多元應用的期待方式，本研究針對，「台灣溫泉健康促進優勢」及「國際化之因應方式」兩個領域，採質性研究方法，從台灣現有的18個溫泉區中，以立意抽樣方式選取13個業者代表進行訪談，訪談期間為2007年7月至9月。綜合訪談內容歸納結論包括(1)業者表達期待政令能明確，但部份政令應保有彈性，且政令和法律的配套要合理化，才能協助業者成長;(2)台灣溫泉區推展以「健康促進特色」為發展目標，可促進台灣溫泉產業蓬勃發展，同時也可促進溫泉周邊產業的成長;(3)台灣溫泉區發展應注重各區的特色，可結合風景、地理、氣候、交通、人文、建築和文化，並配合泉質優勢及溫泉產品的研發，以發展出複合式溫泉健康養生區，建立各區自我特色，使台灣溫泉成為世界溫泉健康中心。
