    Title: 夫妻食物偏好相似性研究
    The Study of Similarity in Food Preferences between Husbands and Wives

    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討:(1)夫妻食物偏好相似性;(2)夫妻對彼此食物偏好瞭解程度。研究樣本為203對,居住在一起的夫妻。以一對一食物偏好訪談方式,夫妻各就五榖根莖、肉魚蛋豆奶、蔬菜、水果四大類,每一類十種常吃食物,自評其對食物喜歡度的順序,並夫妻互評配偶對食物喜歡度的順序,以取得夫與妻食物偏好評估資料,及夫與妻對配偶食物偏好評估資料。研究結果如下:(1)四十種食物中,有75%的食物,夫妻喜歡度無顯著差異,顯示夫妻食物喜歡度相似性相當高。。(2)不同食物類別,妻子與丈夫喜歡度相似情形不同,其中以蔬菜類食物,夫妻喜歡度相似的食物種類最多,其次依序為水果類、五穀根莖類及肉魚蛋豆奶類食物。(3)約有90%的食物,妻子能正確評估丈夫的喜歡度;而約有85%的食物,丈夫能正確評估妻子的喜歡度,顯示無論夫或妻,對配偶食物喜歡度瞭解程度都相當高。研究結果將從家庭生活對夫妻食物偏好影響,及取得夫妻食物偏好訊息方法二方面做討論與建議。
    The purposes of this study were to investigate (a) the similarity in food preferences between husbands and wives. (b) The extent of husband-wife understanding about their spouses’ food preferences. Two hundred and three pairs of couples residing in the same household were studied. The order of food preferences was inquired for husbands and wives separately, and their spouses about the four major food categories (starch, protein, vegetable and fruit) each consisted ten different kinds of food. Results of the study were as followings. (1) Among forty kinds of food, about 75% of the food
    was not significantly different between husbands and wives on the similarity of food likes. This result indicated that food preferences of husband-wife were quiet similar. (2) The similarity of food likes between husbands and wives varied in the different categories of food. For the vegetable group, most food that similarity of food likes between husbands and wives existed, and the similarity descended in the order of fruit, starch, and protein for the rest groups of food. (3) There were about 90% of food which the wives could correctly estimate husbands’ degree of likes. About 85% of food husbands
    could correctly estimate wives’ degree of likes. This result suggested either husbands or wives understood their spouses’ degree of food likes quiet well. Results of the study were discussed and suggested in terms of influences of family life on couples’ food preference as well as the methodology for collecting data about couples ’ food preferences .
