The purpose of this study was designed to analyze the significant factors in PGA Tour. The top 100 PGA players were subdivided into the four different groups as following: Group A (top 10), 2. Group B (top 11-30), 3. Group C (top 31-60), and Group D (top 61-100). The dependent factors of the player’s performance in 2000 PGA Tour were included 21 factors. The One-Way ANOVA and Tukey’s Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) were used to analyze the variation between each group. The results indicated that the significant factors in governing performance in 2000 PGA Tour was considered as following: 1. Scoring Average Before Cut (69.74 stroke), 2. Par Breakers (23.4%), 3. Scoring Average (69.83 stroke), 4. Birdie Average (4.089 time/per round), 5. Par 5 Birdie Percentage (48.5%), and 6. Bounce Back (25.9%). In addition, the results shown that a good player will keep their performance in high standard levels thawas included the list as following: 1. A long driving distance. 2. A high birdie conversion percentage. 3. Good Par 4 score. 4. Good Par 3 score. 5. High Par 5 birdie percentage, and 6. Good scoring average in final round. 本研究目的主要是探討PGA選手間勝負差異因素,以作為國內選手參加各項高爾夫比賽前的訓練計畫依據,及比賽戰術運用之參考。研究中以美國2000年PGA巡迴賽排名前100名男性選手為分析對象,並將選手分成四組,各組分別為(1)第一級(前10名)、(2)第二級(11名至30名)、(3)第三級(31名至60名)、(4)第四級(61名至100名)。全年比賽成績表現計有21項因子,各因子經單因子變異數比較各組間差異情形,若F值達顯著水準(P<0.05),則以杜凱氏進行組間事後比較。結果發現頂尖選手最大差異來自,1.預賽平均桿數、2.擊出低標準桿能力、3.每回 合平均桿數、4.每18洞博蒂次數、5.五桿洞博蒂機率及6.立即補救能力。
