    Title: Survey of Chytridiomycota in fresh water wetlands of Taiwan

    Abstract: In this study the author investigated the distribution and diversity of chytrids in four fresh water wetlands , namcly of Tsoying , Kwantien , Jenteh , and Mataian , Twenty-nine isolates were identified as eight genera thirteen species of Chytridiales and Hyphocllxtrialos . The most of chytrid species ( S=11 ) is isolated from Mataian.while Rhizophydium is the dominant genus and Rhizophydium laterale is the ubiquitous and dominant species ( Pi = 7 / 29 ) . A chitinophilic Rhizophydium globosum is illustrated and described.
    本研究選擇四個自然及人工沼澤、濕地採集水樣,進行多樣性壺菌群資源初步調查,獲得純培養29 個菌株,並鑑定出8 屬13 菌種,壺菌類多樣性在自然濕地馬太鞍(S =11)明顯高於其他三個人工濕地(S = 3~5),其中根生壺菌屬(Rhizophydium)為優勢屬,而側生根生壺菌(Rhizophyium laterale)為優勢種,本文並描述一種嗜幾丁質的球囊壺菌(Rhizoclosmatium globsum)之型態及發育特徵。
