    Abstract: 生化物質的偵測,對於醫學上的應用是相當重要的也是近代相當受到重視的研究領域。電化學分析法,由於具有高靈敏度、選擇性、經濟以及可結合微電極作為觸體偵測等特點,因此是一種用於生化物質偵測相當具有潛力的分析方法之一。然而,使用電化學分析法,一般除了分析物質必須在合適的電位範圍下具有直接或間接的氧化或還原的性質之外,另外必須使分析物與電極表面具有快速、容易及大量的電荷轉移以得到較大的氧化或還原電流的分析訊號。因此如何提升分析物與電極表面間的電荷轉移能力已成為目前重要的研究主題之一。 本計畫利用較親油性的非極性石臘油組合式碳電極。較具極性的環氧樹脂之組合式碳電極以及親水性的高極性探電極,探討電極表面對分析物的氧化還原特性。並比較不同電極在水溶液及有機溶液中的電化學性質。最後以環氧樹脂之組合式碳電極探討Catechol、Hydroquinone以及Dopamine等腦神經傳導的生化物質的電化學性質。
    Electrochemical methods is a sensitive, selective, in vive and cost effective analytical technique. Using the methods for the detection of biochemical compounds is one of the important researches in the analytical application of the clinical medicine. In most sensitive electrochemical methods, a direct or indirect redox's reaction will be occurred. A efficiency of redox's reaction is dependant on the reaction of electron transfer between the analytes and the surface of electrode. Therefore to improve the efficiencies of charge transfer to get a high Redox's current in the detection of electrochemical analysis is one of the most active research areas today. In the project, Several composited electrode of different polarity which are applied to increase the interaction for similar analysts will be prepared as such carbon paste and epoxy-carbon electrodes. The electrochemical characteristics of the modified electrodes on the detection of a number of small molecules in the biochemical compounds including catechol and hydroquenone and dopamine will be studies.
