    Abstract: 孔子《春秋經》書法嚴謹,言簡意賅,因學者對《春秋經》定位之觀點各異,引發《春秋》學上種種的議題與論辯。在《春秋》學的討論中,最主要的問題有三,即:(一)孔子《春秋經》是作?還是述?(二)《春秋經》的宗旨為何?(三)《春秋》應視為史書還是經書?以上問題尤以第一個問題最為關鍵,其詮釋之觀點對其後二個問題的解答影響極大。
    本研究根據《孟子》論述《春秋經》之所有原文,得出孟子對以上問題之看法為:(一)孟子十分背定孔子「作」《春秋經》。(二)孟子明確說出孔子作《春秋經》之政治用意。(三)孟子指出《春秋》不同於一般史書,史書重事,《春秋》重義。由以上孟子之論述,可知孟子對《春秋》具有深入之見解,學者研究《春秋經》相關議題宜採用孟子的觀點做為立論依據。
    Chun Qiu Scripture’s writings were brief and terse. It caused many arguments and discussions in Chun Qiu Scripture’s theory. There are three main problems in this domain. 1. Chun Qiu Scripture was written or narrated by Confucius. 2. What’s the purpose of Chun Qiu Scripture. 3. Chun Qiu Scripture should be categorized to history or scripture.
    This papers reviews Chun Qiu Scripture stated by Mencius and get findings. It presents: 1. Mencius believed that Chun Qiu Scripture was written by Confucius. 2. Mencius stated the political purpose of Chun Qiu Scripture. 3. Mencius pointed out Chun Qiu Scripture is different from history. Scholars can refer Mencius’s opinions to related research.
