    Abstract: 活性碳(Activated carbon)為一種多孔性的含碳物質,具有相當特殊之孔隙結構,利用含碳質材浸於化學活化劑中,進行化學性活化,藉以促進顆粒孔隙開啟並使熱裂解反應完全,利用不同的化學活化條件,如:活化劑之濃度與含浸時間等,以尋求評估不同含浸條件對活性碳之物化性質之影響,在缺氧及高溫(170~600℃)的條件下,將原料熱裂解成多裂孔性的炭結構體,炭化期間,大部份的非炭元素可藉由裂解程序而以揮發性氣體產物被去除,利用不同的炭化條件,可尋求製造活性碳之最佳炭化條件,而製出發達微孔結構的活性碳,並進行活性碳之物理性質分析,活性碳之物理性質分析項目,包括:以掃瞄式電子顯微鏡(SEM)觀察活性碳之表面形態、以微孔隙分析儀測定BET比表面積、以Pycnometer與Porosimeter測定活性碳之粒徑大小與密度
