Abstract:	Medical technology is the most powerful tool used in improving human health. People often obtained the relative news from the media; however, the insight of the technology is still under the veil due to the barrier of understanding the professional knowledge. The specific terminology and the complexity of all kinds of experiments are beyond most, if not all, students’ ability to catch up with. Therefore, a suitable edited course, which is fulfilled for the needs of undergraduates, is highly required. I accomplished the specific course termed “The application of cutting edge technology in Medicine”, which included the medical image system, de novo drugs, and new findings of medical researches. According to the survey of 43 students of the department of hospital and health care administration, who showed strong enthusiasm for studying the relative issue of medical technology, I found high up to 99.2% students agree with that the medical technology is important to the individual and society; they also attended to notice the relative report on the media. After taking the course, 83.7% of students’ initial expectation for the content were fulfilled. Compared with the study result of last year , however, the college students for the full time student program showed less motivation in search and reading the related news of medical technology than the students for two-year program. In understand the knowledge introduced in the class, the performance of the former is better than that of the latter, which indicated that the students for the four-year program might have sound background in relative courses, such as biology, physiology and pathology. The minor difference between two types of students was compared and discussed. All the topics in the course are instructed by PowerPoint, which also obtained high evaluation by the students.
