A gas chromatographic method for separation and analysis of 15 samples of Chinese antirheumatic drugs by using 2mx3mm column packing 1.5% Silicone GE-SE-30 or 1.5% Silicone OV-17 in glass column with t temperature programmed chromatograph over a column temperature range 150 to 250℃.Aminopyrin, phenybutazone, Acetaminophen prednisolone, and allylisopropyl-acetylurea bad been found in 9 of samples. It was found that the maximum contents of aminopyrine was 200mg/5 pills and phenylbutazone was 100mg/5 pills.
