    摘要: 台灣的泡湯文化則肇始於日據時代。日本人相信泡溫泉可以治病,因此在日本統治時代,喜歡泡溫泉的日本人便開始開發台灣的溫泉。臺灣第一家溫泉旅館「天狗庵」在1896年在北投開始營業,不久之後日本政府在北投溫泉設立「陸軍療養院」,供戰爭受傷的士兵療養,也開始了溫泉的風華。
    台灣處於環太平洋地震帶上,位於歐亞和太平洋兩大阪塊之間,即是火山活動相當發達的地形之一,因此造就溫泉與地熱的區域產生。而以觀光休閒遊憩為主的台灣在溫泉資源利用上有所侷限,且社會大眾對溫泉的保育與珍惜使用更缺乏基本觀念。更有許多地區溫泉資源利用甚早,但大多數皆未有整體之規劃,又因缺乏事權統一的專責管理機構,導致溫泉資源多未妥善利用而浪費。
    相對的國外對溫泉早已廣泛應用於復健、農業栽培、生物科技等充分享受溫泉健康促進效益,其溫泉衍生品的利潤也為當地經濟創造成長。為了使台灣的溫泉資源永續利用,及提升溫泉資源利用效能,首先建立溫泉命名系統,在本研究中分析既有的溫泉命名規則,依其對應的命名特性架構及相對應決策樹,並使用網路應用程式的觀點,建立使用者只需輸入溫泉相關資訊,就能獲得正確命名的線上溫泉泉質命名決策支援系統,而系統則分為兩部份,第一部份為溫泉泉質分類體系,利用分類體系規劃突顯各個溫泉地區獨自的特色,除了吸引國內的消費者,更可以吸引國外的遊客,再以溫泉泉質分類標準化系統,做為台灣溫泉泉質命名認定規則標準,讓國內溫泉多元應用方向有所參考依據。
    Hot spring culture in Taiwan began from the Japanese colonial era. Because the Japanese believe in hot spring’s therapeutic effect, those who enjoy hot spring started to exploit hot springs in Taiwan when Taiwan was ruled by the Japanese government. Tengu Temple, the first hot spring hotel in Taiwan, was inaugurated at Beitou in 1896. Later on, the Japanese government also set up an “Army Nursing Home” at Beitou hot spring area as a rehabilitation hospital for their wounded soldiers, which also marked the beginning of the thrive of hot springs in Taiwan.
    Located at the Circum- Pacific seismic zone, Taiwan happens to be between the Eurasian and the Pacific plates, and as a result, its terrain has quite active volcanic activities, which is responsible for the hot springs and geothermal energy of Taiwan. Unfortunately, the use of hot spring resources in Taiwan, a nation emphasizing on tourism and recreational activities, is somehow limited. Moreover, the public has neither basic concept related to hot spring conservation nor a trace of awareness on caring or valuing these resources. In addition, many areas that started using hot spring resources very early on still have neither a comprehensive plan nor a unified authority in charging of the management. Consequently, most of the hot spring resources in Taiwan are poorly utilized or even wasted.
    In contrast, other countries have already used hot springs for therapies, agricultural planting, biological technologies, and other health-promoting activities. Furthermore, many of these countries have benefited from spurred local economy by profits derived from hot spring products. For hot springs in Taiwan, the primary task for creating a sustainable use of hot spring resources and elevating the efficacy of the utilization of hot spring resources is to establish a hot spring naming system. So in this study, the authors analyzed the existing rules for naming hot springs and built up an online hot spring quality naming strategy supporting system, based on the corresponding naming feature framework and decision-making tree as well as the network application program utilization perspective, that enables the users to obtain the correct name of a hot spring by entering information related to that hot spring. This system can be divided into two parts. The first part is the hot spring quality classification system that uses a classification system plan to reinforce the distinctive features of each hot spring area. This measure can help attract not only domestic consumers but also international tourists. The second part is the hot spring quality classification standard system, which can be used as a recognized specification standard for naming hot spring quality in Taiwan This measure provides a reference for the pluralistic application of domestic hot springs.
