This study was conducted to suwey the parameters of water quality and collected the aquatic insects in various constructed wetlands. The results showed that the water quality and biotic index ofthe six constructed wetlands systems were significant difference. To use the river pollution index (RPI) to evaluate the water quality in the three regularly sampling constructed wetlands was the same as to use the Family-level biotic index and the Shannon-Weaver diversity index. The water quality ofthe three const™cted wetlands to fall into rank hom high to low was Gang-Wei system>Chna system>Chna system. To use the Family-level biotic index and Shannon-Weaver . diversity index to assess constructed wetland water quality were feasible. These methods could assist chemical analysis to assess the whole water quality.
