Abstract:	自然生態系統的行為所涵蓋的因素很多，包括污染削減功能計算、當地生態環境的配合、後續操作維護的需求量、當地民眾對於系統的接受度、與當地社區發展目標的配合度等自然、工程、社會、人文等因素，均需作整體的考量，不是用一個簡單的數學公式就能解決所有的問題。因此，前針對各個不同需求的系統，需要以「量身訂作」的方式來設計。量身訂作本身就是生態工程的基本觀念，任何生態技術的應用，本來就需要根據當地的各種生態環境，做最佳的設計與規劃。
