This progressing study extends and modifies the basic theory of GOMS for applying in the teamwork of the process control systems. The modified teamwork GOMS model can be utilized to describe and to identify what the team members must do in the process control systems. Furthermore, the modified GOMS analysis not only can describe what the team members must learn, but can specify which can be used as a basic for training or for developing reference documentations. In this study, we propose the procedure of modified method based on GOMS, which can be applied to develop the usability database and to identify team training requirements for process control systems for further training program.
