    摘要: Cutting edge of medical technology is the most powerful tool used in improving human health. People often obtained the relative news from the media; however, the insight of the technology is still under the veil due to the barrier of understanding the professional knowledge. The specific terminology and the complexity of all kinds of experiments are beyond most, if not all, students’ ability to catch up with. Therefore, a suitable edited course, which is fulfilled for the needs of undergraduates, is highly required. I accomplished the specific course termed “The application of cutting edge technology in Medicine”, which included the medical image system, de novo drugs, and new findings of medical researches. According to the survey of 103 students, who showed strong enthusiasm for studying the relative issue of medical technology, high up to 92% students agreed with that the medical technology is important to the individual and society; they also attended to notice the relative report on the media. After taking the course, 91% students’ initial expectation for the content were fulfilled. All the topics in the course are instructed by PowerPoint, which also obtained high evaluation by the students. Parts of the contents were written as 5 special articles published in Science Development from National Science Council, and can be read and download as pdf file on the web.
